About this artwork

Denali, the centerpiece of Denali National Park and Preserve, is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet above sea level. It is the 3rd most prominent and isolated peak on earth. This majestic landscape takes on different perspectives with the changing of the seasons. Here it is shown reflected in a Spring lake. John uses heavy body acrylics with multiple layers to achieve the bold and rich colors.
