About this artwork

This work is a very simple, decorative, almost abstract rendition of a creek near my home. I reduced the compositional elements to basic shapes of mostly flat color. Not what one would see, but what one might see if imagining a typical creek in the woods anywhere. The sides are painted brown, and the work comes ready to hang.
