About this artwork

Artist Kip Decker paints a delightful homestead on a bright summer day. The landscape features a gentle rise and fall, adorned with cozy cottages in shades of white and red, each exuding a sense of snug contentment. Amidst the picturesque scene, a rooster stands tall on the fence, surrounded by vibrant wildflowers. He casts curious glances at a pair of feathered companions perched just beyond the gate. A small community of blackbirds, with watchful eyes oversees the leisurely grazing of horses on the verdant field of grass. Part of Kip's ongoing Country Joy series.
