About this artwork

Four boys in their swimming trunks with their skateboards kneeling on the boardwalk overlooking the lake. A bright sun washes their faces and bare shoulders with brilliant light. In the distance the mountains fade in the summer haze. John uses heavy body acrylics with multiple layers to achieve the bold and rich colors.
