Artist Natasha Lelenco presents a surrealist portrait of a man developing from floral elements. This piece borrows the title from a poem by the Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu to address a portrait of the ephemeral, shares Natasha. She portrays a figure that emerges from where the flowers appear, from the unglamorous substrate, from refuse. Fleeting beauty that evokes how very little we are compared to how much we think of ourselves. Part of her Fetishes series, drawing from her musical and visual memory.
