About this artwork

I sat on a bench at the edge of Surfers Beach one afternoon to watch the cloud show of the day, shares artist Sheila Finch. She takes inspiration from coastal clouds in California in October's stormy atmosphere. Sometimes the ocean is inexplicably a light mint green, defying the normal rules for sky and water colors. This was during one of those unusual days.
