Artist Paula Martino captures vibrant scenes of people and places with compelling compositions and value patterns. "I feel motivated by them, and they reflect the energy and emotions I feel," says Paula. Through colors and visual textures, she intends to uplift the viewer with her works. After a three-decade career as a CPA, Paula decided to pursue her art practice fully, studying in earnest with nationally recognized colorists, portrait artists, and landscape painters. Her creative routine includes attending figure painting sessions, participating in online mixed-media critiques, and joining a local plein air group. Paula often listens to podcasts while working in the basement studio built by her husband, accompanied by organized paints, supplies, and a wall-mounted easel. In her free time, she enjoys cooking healthy dishes, going to the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends.
