Artist Statement
I paint for the joy of being able to create a picture that can be enjoyed by others and myself, now and in the future. I began my freelance career in 2015, and since then I have been fortunate enough to continue along this path and now spend my time painting and teaching in Germany. Capturing the sensation of a moment armed with only paper, brush and pigment is exiting every time I attempt it. When I succeed, I am rewarded with the joy of sharing that moment with others.
