Artist Sally Adams paints ethereal scenes with intimate simplicity and clarity of expression. "I only paint the core components necessary to convey an emotional connection," says Sally. Since she was a young child, she has always had an innate affinity for being outdoors. Spending time with nature is where she finds peace, and it reminds her that beauty can be found anywhere. Sally finished a graphic arts degree and pursued a short career as a graphic artist and ceramic tile artist but soon realized it was painting she wanted to do. "Pickledog," her home studio in Michigan, is an ode to her beloved furry companion of 15 years. She keeps her space open and bright; if the sun is out, the space fills with the best light. Sally finds music essential, as is the time she spends outdoors before creating. Sally encourages her three daughters also to develop their creative passions. Often, she works at her daughter's studio, UGallery artist Drew Noel Marin, a skilled artist like her mother.

I get compliments on this piece all the time and how the color palette used matches my decor. It is a lovely piece and it was hard to pick from the artist’s wonderful work. For me, it reminds me of when I look up from my car while heading into work…the peaceful view of birds on the wire bring in the day.
Corbin, Thank you for posting your nice feedback. I try hard to represent my work accurately, especially in regards to color. It pleases me to know that you are very happy with it! I appreciate you letting me know!
Love this piece! It arrived in great shape and was just as it appeared online. Very happy!!!
Susan, thank you for your kinds works about my work. It pleases me that "Warmth of the Day" makes you feel good and you are enjoying it as much in real life, as when you viewed it online. I could not be happier to have received this note. Thank you again! I do hope you will enjoy it for many years! :)
The mood and feel of it came across just as enjoyably in reality as online (that does not always happen)! This piece of artwork makes me feel good and I am confident it will hang on my walls forever. I love your aesthetic.
