Michele Morata takes a very spiritual approach to painting, letting each piece come through her. Her works feel abstract, atmospheric, and serene. She currently lives in California, near the ocean and mountains, and finds inspiration in meditation and positive human emotions. She considers herself an eco-friendly artist and has researched mediums that are organic or recycled in nature.

About The Artist
My journey in this creative walk involves walking the peaceful path – which lends itself to a higher vibrational level to creating the art itself. I always recognize the source from which the gift came. I did not create the ‘gift.’ It was given to me when I was born, then it was up to me to say ‘yes’ to this calling or not. It took me many years, even decades to get to ‘yes.’ Many lessons, much struggle, heartbreak and suffering, to arrive where? Here in the ‘knowing.’ The ‘knowing’ that I am loved – deeply loved. I am a child of God, and it is from that love that enables me to create.
I have been a fine art painter for over 16 years. Receiving representation in over 20 galleries and art shows in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Las Vegas, Laguna Beach, Seal Beach, San Clemente, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Palm Desert, Scottsdale, and New York has provided me with many unique artistic experiences for which I am grateful. Large commissions have included Embassy Suites, Doubletrees by Hilton, Courtyard Marriott, as well as HGTV designers. I have also created public and indoor art for hospitals worldwide.
I consider myself an eco-friendly environmental artist. Experimentations have drawn me to work with over 150 international organic mediums, many of which are included in my more textured artworks, or as oil accents.
Current main influences come from a near death experience, love of nature, and poetry.
