I started painting after I got my cats, about 13 years ago. My senses seemed to awaken. It seemed that I saw color and nature for the first time. I had drawn obsessively as a child, but had lost interest, but the artist that had always been inside unleashed herself. I quickly developed my own intuitive style, exploring the link between visual representations and language.
My life has changed so significantly since I started making art. I am now middle aged and a mother of two. I still make similar art, but my artist vision is clearer and more confident. I believe in clarity, honesty, practicality, and good will. My art reflects my beliefs with its bold lines, bright colors, strong compositions and informed simplicity.
I think learning to love and appreciate my world, being grateful and being a caretaker is what most inspires my happiness and my work.
