Before his career as an artist, Jason Brueck practiced law for twelve years in Philadelphia. For several years leading up to this momentous change, he showed artwork in a few local venues and even opened his own small gallery in the Olde City neighborhood. In January of 2014, he quit his job as an attorney, sold his house and moved to Nashville to pursue his true passion full time. Jason draws inspiration from album cover art and song lyrics, and also imagines ways to present current design trends in a different light. He generates titles first and then puts together an image to describe the narrative. “My hope is that people see a story behind the image. Thought and humor often factor into that message,” says Jason. His work is shown across the country in galleries, hotels and juried festivals, and has been acquired by major universities including The University of Michigan and Texas A&M University.
