My paintings are expressions of powerful energies. They give form and substance to abstract life forces. They explore the connection between mankind and nature. My goal as an artist is to create positive visualizations of the vitality of the world.
I use a combination of brush strokes and pouring techniques to produce my paintings. I find that pouring brings a dynamic to my paintings that feels spontaneous and alive. I often use different types of paints of various thicknesses to give my work deep textures and multiple light refractions. I use many different color palettes, depending upon the feeling I am exploring. I like the energy that comes from putting strong colors next to one another.
My art, like nature, never repeats. It keeps changing and evolving. In my work, I rely upon my intuition and joy of creation. I was born an artist. I am self taught and motivated to achieve great things through my art.
