I am a Bucks County artist working primarily in oil. I earned my BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, as well as continuing studies in Graphic Design and Illustration at UCLA. I love to travel and before returning to the East Coast I lived in California, Santa Fe, and New York. My style combines influences from the natural environment, as well as the regional artists of the places I have lived. For instance, the landscape painters of New Mexico, the Hudson River valley artists of New York, and the California Impressionist painters. My paintings are about big skies and color, but are meant to be quiet, reflective, peaceful, and dreamlike. For me, the act of painting skies and clouds is a form “meditation”, as it gives me a great sense of peace and joy. I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, two sons, and two dogs, on a piece of land that has a perfect view of the clouds.
