Inspired by the artist's love of the wildlife near her childhood home in the Monterey Bay. She spent hours watching sea otters floating in the water, and wanted to capture their spirit in this piece. A sea otter looks directly at the viewer, gripping her dinner. A whimsical painting in vibrant purple and violet.
