Baltimore Orioles and White Oak TreeSuren Nersisyan
Watercolor painting on Paper New
Signed on front and back
18" h x 12" w |1 lbs. 0 oz.
This piece is from my "Birds and Flowers" series. The bright yellow-orange colors of the oriole, in contrast with the blue-green leaves of the oak tree create a beautiful contrast. The dynamic composition is inspired by traditional western European and Japanese art.
The piece is on heavyweight watercolor paper and will need a frame for display.

Suren is an impressionist painter eloquently capturing nature, landscapes, and cityscapes in paint. His body of work reflects several different stylistic approaches. Suren’s scenes in oil are inspired by Impressionist masters Monet and Van Gogh, while his watercolor series of flowers and birds are influenced by Eastern styles of painting and the colors of the Middle Eastern environment. Suren believes his role as an artist is to remind viewers that we all are part of the same natural universe.

Mr. Nersisyan's water color of this beautiful sea turtle is brilliant! Our input was important to him and he obviously listened and also enjoyed revisiting the subject because this beautiful piece is exactly what we had hoped for. From the detailed expression on her face to the tip of her back flipper, everything is perfect. We plan for this to just be the first in our Suren Nersisyan collection!- C Moore
