About
This
Artwork

Two graceful figures face each other in a moment of quiet intimacy. Artist Yenny Cocq cast this bronze sculpture using the lost wax process. She meticulously finished the piece by hand with polished highlights on the faces, knees and feet. "The speckled gray patina is elegant with some variation in shade," says Yenny. The sculpture comes with a stone base, although may vary from the base pictured. Please contact UGallery through the Contact Gallery button above with any questions.

Yenny Cocq

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Yenny Cocq is a figurative sculptor who works in bronze. She begins each piece by working in oil clay so she can create the form of the figure. She continues by creating a mold to produce wax versions of the sculpture, which she can alter further to develop the emotion of her figures. The final step is to have the artwork cast in bronze at a foundry. Yenny’s figures create modular families–adults, children, and pets may be mixed and matched to accurately reflect loving familial relationships.

We're so enjoying this miniature piece. According to our moods, we move the figures apart, together, or even turning one's back to the other.
