Comments About This Piece
A vibrant blend of photography and illustration, this image sits somewhere between the graphic simplicity of a Warhol print and the meticulously constructed geometric portraits made by Chuck Close.
This is a 26"x26" print made using archival pigment inks and Somerset Velvet Enhanced heavyweight (255 gsm) textured fine art paper. The image area is 24"x24' allowing for a 1" white border on all four sides for easy framing. This image is available in other print sizes up to 48"x48". It is also available as a crystal pure acrylic print or as a stylish piece of metallic art printed directly on aluminum. Please contact UGallery for more details.
Digital printmaking is the process of printing from a digital based image onto a variety of media. All of the digital printmaking on our site can be printed on paper, canvas, acrylic, or aluminum. The images in this category are classified as digital art, which is art that uses digital technology as part of its process and creation. The images are either computer generated, taken from scanned photographs, or drawn using vector graphics.
Paper is a very common surface for all types of artwork, including photography, printmaking, drawing and painting. Art paper varies in thickness and color. Read the notes section to learn more about the paper used to create this artwork. If not noted as framed, most paper artwork will require framing.
Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
