Getting to Know Joanna

Joanna Pechmann enjoys taking in her surroundings carefully and envisioning an image in her head. Once she captures that perfect scene in her mind, she snaps a photo with her camera. “My work is nearly always about transmitting a good mood, happiness and beauty found in the everyday life, nature and architecture,” she explains. Any time she’s not making art, you can find her cooking, drinking red wine, watching old funny movies and spending time with friends. Fun fact: she spent five years studying economics but worked in the field for only eight months.
