Rachel Lauren
Galloway, Ohio

The work of Rachel Lauren Ridgley showcases her deep love for vintage photography. In processing her images, she strives for the color and texture that she finds in older images. With each image, she tweaks these elements until creating just the right effect. Her favorite subject to shoot is the wolf; she enjoys photographing wolves in relaxed moods to showcase their more sensitive side. Her love for wolves goes beyond photography - she and her boyfriend own three Ambassador wolves and a facility called Ironwood Wolves. Rachel currently lives in Ohio.

I enjoy Rachel's work - it has a texture and depth. You can simply see yourself in her landscapes or walking beside her wolves.

Open Edition

Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
