Kathleen Finlay studied drawing and painting as a student, but it was photography that caught her attention. She began photographing almost 25 years ago and loves the immediacy of the medium. A lot of her travel work is influenced by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sarah Moon and Edward Steichen. Lately she finds herself sculpting with clay and painting when she’s not photographing.
