It’s always special to witness two owls sharing the same tree or branch. In morning light, a pair of Barred Owls share a moment together waiting and watching for what the new day will bring.
Mark McKnight
Poulsbo, Washington
Mark McKnight is one with the outdoors. From traveling to the Amazon and living with migratory river indians to experiencing the mystique of the Pacific Northwest, Mark loves to capture magnificent moments and extend the memory through the printed form. His ongoing photo series titled Owl People derives from Native American tradition where the owl’s presence holds a sacred place. Fun fact: When Mark’s not capturing still images, he shoots television programs as the Director of Photography. The man simply can not get away from the camera!
