This image is in Malmö's Västra Hamnen neighborhood by the sea. On the horizon, you can see the Öresunds Bridge that connects Denmark with Sweden. I was strolling by in the area when I saw these girls enjoying a lovely summer day by the water. Fortunately, I had my camera with me. This photograph is one of my favorites.
Pedro Cesar is a Portuguese street photographer currently living in Sweden. His work is based on the constant search for aesthetic moments in everyday life. When Pedro comes upon just the right subject–a moment he defines as “magic"-he quickly snaps the shutter to translate the scene into a photographic composition, frozen in time. The resulting images are a true reflection of human interaction. Pedro’s photography feels both honest and cinematographic, sparking our curiosities and imaginations.
