William Dickman
plymouth, New Hampshire
William Dickman's work as a marine engineer takes him across the world, where he captures dramatic photographs with his mobile studio. William’s collection features architecture and nature in Asia, Europe, and across America, as well as a look into the deep night sky. On learning his craft, William recalls, "my wife had a camera which had languished on the shelf for a decade, until I picked it up and became determined to master it. I found resources online to help learn the technical aspects of photography, and listened to interviews with photographers on podcasts such as "The Candid Frame" to gain an appreciation of the philosophical aspects of the craft." When not making art, he sails as an engineering officer aboard US flagged merchant vessels and serves in the US Naval Reserve.
