This was a group of three musicians practicing for a weekend festival at a vineyard in Virginia. They were waiting for their guitarist to arrive. The painting is on watercolor paper, which has been mounted to board. It will need a frame for display.

Getting to Know Robert

Robert Holewinski paints realistic places with his own spin, and also throws in some fictional characters like Shrek. He currently lives in Florida and finds inspiration in the work of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne. In his work, and that of others, he enjoys being able to see each brush stroke. Fun fact: he used to work for Disney.
