My inspiration for this piece was a field of wild dandelions, with the sun hitting the morning dew in such a way that it created a rainbow spectrum of colors. The technique that I used was based on the Old Masters technique of layering light glazes of pure color.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes varnished and ready to hang.

Getting to Know Sarah Beth

Sarah Beth Goncarova uses a variety of techniques to convey the importance of very contemporary dilemmas. Her hushed, thick brush strokes portray barren environments, bold textures, or photorealistic paintings in a state of flux. The viewer is invited into her paintings to join her in social activism that ranges from women's rights to environmentalism.
