This landscape depicts a street in Old Quebec City on the north side where there are many great restaurants and pubs. The city is a beautiful example of what a city can look like. This impressionistic painting combines day and night and cast shadows. It is on canvas board and will need a frame for display.

Getting to Know Robert

Robert Holewinski paints realistic places with his own spin, and also throws in some fictional characters like Shrek. He currently lives in Florida and finds inspiration in the work of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne. In his work, and that of others, he enjoys being able to see each brush stroke. Fun fact: he used to work for Disney.
