While walking through the narrow winding streets of the beautiful Italian town Lucca, I came upon this scene without any people looking very medieval and somber. A perfect scene for a painting! The piece is made of oil paint on heavy watercolor paper mounted to board. It will need a frame for display.

He currently lives in Florida and finds inspiration in the work of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne. In his work, and that of others, he enjoys being able to see each brush stroke. Fun fact: he used to work for Disney.
