I painted these from life. Doing a still life like this is such a soothing experience to me. This piece is painted on masonite panel and is ready to frame.

Gary Bruton likes to just let ideas come to him. Oftentimes, when painting en plein air, he lets the physical sensation he feels that day determine his approach to the canvas. He hopes to capture the relationships in the physical world that interest him. When he’s not making art, he tends to two marine aquariums that contain clownfish and sea anemones.
