About this artwork
Artist Marilyn Froggatt displays a spectacular perspective of a vast mountain range encompassing Hyalite Lake. The incredible sunset illuminates the majestic sky and reflects on the tranquil surface of the water. I wanted to depict the glow and wonder that I saw in Montana when I painted there last summer, says Marilyn. She uses palette knives and brushes in tandem for a light textural finish that recreates the majesty of the special place.
