This painting was done more to break up the geometric shapes rather than try to show an accurate portrait of a lighthouse off the coast of Maine. This work is on canvas board and will need a frame for display.

Getting to Know Robert

Robert Holewinski paints realistic places with his own spin, and also throws in some fictional characters like Shrek. He currently lives in Florida and finds inspiration in the work of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne. In his work, and that of others, he enjoys being able to see each brush stroke. Fun fact: he used to work for Disney.
