About this artwork
This majestic painting was inspired by Agnieszka's encounter with several species of magnolia blooming in the spring. For me, the magnolia symbolizes the power of nature coming to life, she says. The big, colorful flowers had a huge impact on me in that time. The artwork can be read as a metaphor for the rebirth of the man.Part of Agnieszka's current series expressing her own personal need for contact with the world of nature, and her longing for a lost relationship with nature that we as humans used to have, but lost in the time of progressive industrialization.
