As I've been diving further into this series inspired by light and neutral colors, I've started incorporating deeper colors in the background  of my work. This is one of the first that I started straying from all white backgrounds into exploring richer colors, but maintaining the simplicity and that light and airy feel.

The painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas with unfinished edges and comes wired to hang.

Getting to Know Morgan

Abstract painter and native Tennessean Morgan Fite uses primarily neutral tones and is inspired by light, nature, and the changing seasons. She is also heavily influenced by her travels to Europe, Africa, and Haiti. Morgan’s first step in her creative process is mixing colors, which she sources from rocks and flowers she collects. Her color palette is subtle and quite limited, so these initial choices play a large role in shaping the work. Morgan strives to make art that moves, inspires, and invites.
