The inspiration for this piece came from seeing a field of cow parsley in a foggy field. I thought that the silhouette was expressive in a  way that I sought to better understand. For this piece I first built the stretchers and stretched and gessoed the canvas. Then used the old masters technique of layering many light glazes of color.

This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished edges. It comes varnished and ready to hang.
