One pose I consistently return to in my figurative work is the arched back. I'm not sure if it's the inherent curving lines in such a pose, or the striking confidence it exudes, but there is something about the arch of the back that draws me in. It's feminine, powerful, free. This Curly Girl is no exception; her hair flying around her as she throws herself back, she's the free spirit we all long to be. This painting is on gallery wrapped canvas with finished black edges. It comes ready to hang.
