Take a spring walk in one of Denver’s many parks, and you will see the beautiful cherry blossom trees that bloom there in early spring. The spring of 2015 was unusually mild in weather, and the season was extended. This painting was done early in the season, and the Cottonwood Trees in the background were just beginning to bud. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the edges. It comes ready to hang.

Getting to Know Ron

Ron Kenyon loves painting and reflecting in quiet, intimate spaces. He has been greatly influenced by the Impressionist movement, often painting en plein air, and believes it is important to get outside and observe. For nine years, Ron owned and operated an art gallery, but eventually closed it to spend more time pursuing his own artistic career. Ron currently lives in Tucson, and the influence of the Southwest is visible in his work.
