In the town of Charlottesville, VA there is an outdoor pedestrian mall. It is about six blocks long and is lined with shops and restaurants. The center of the street is filled with tall oak trees and tables from the restaurants. Located in this mall area is “Millers,” where Dave Mason got his start. Musicians are always in the mall, and I listened to this couple playing the guitar and banjo. I took their photo with the intention of painting them back at my studio. This painting is on heavyweight paper mounted on board. It will need a frame for display.

He currently lives in Florida and finds inspiration in the work of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Paul Cézanne.
