While visiting my son in Winter, California, I discovered this beautiful alpine creek running along the road.  As I walked the path along the creek, I found the multitude of greens, pinks, blues and purples simply enchanting. I loved the way the sky blue, trees and flowers reflected off the meandering stream! The scene reminded me so much of my time painting the lily pond at Giverny during my years living in Europe. This painting is created on gallery wrapped canvas with the image continuing around the sides. It is varnished, wired and ready to hang.
