About this artwork

Artist Morgan Fite paints with neutral tones, letting movement, texture and subtle contrasts tell the story and capture moments in time. I painted this piece on our first snow day of the year this past winter, she says. I was inspired by the overwhelming sense of peace and silence that comes with the first snowfall and from watching the fog settle in.
