Artist Morgan Fite paints with neutral tones, letting movement, texture and subtle contrasts tell the story and capture moments in time. "I painted this piece on our first snow day of the year this past winter," she says. "I was inspired by the overwhelming sense of peace and silence that comes with the first snowfall and from watching the fog settle in."
Abstract artist and Tennessee-native Morgan Fite paints delicate compositions that allude to natural forms and changing light. She paints with neutral tones and feathery brushstrokes that give her art its soft and dreamlike quality. She is inspired by her travels and cites the earthy tones of Central Africa and the textures of Roman architecture as particularly influential. For each piece, she begins her process by selecting a color palette from her collection of flowers and rocks. Throughout her portfolio, Morgan strives to make art that invites, moves, and inspires.
