"I was inspired to paint this piece after watching the glowing light and mesmerizing patterning of refracted sunlight in my backyard pool," Laura says. "I am continually inspired by the natural beauty and ever-changing nature of water." This painting was created using many thin layers of transparent oil glazes, giving the piece great depth and luminosity.
