S233 is a neutral, heavily textured, geometric abstract.  Inspired by the architecture of a city on a recent trip, many lines come into view as you go through your day. Tones of gray and cream give this piece a calm and sophisticated feel.  A cut up magazine ad is strategically placed in between the fine lines of paint to add dimension and create more texture. "My stripes collection is a heavy textured, mixed media take on the abstract landscape," says Janet.  Her process involves stacking oil paint carefully into lines using knives, then blending, adding, and repositioning the paint around paper scrapes and other media.  It is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas, with finished sides, and comes ready to hang.
