"Summer was coming to a close when I noticed this young girl lying so peacefully at the water's edge," says Faye. "The girl seemed lost in thought, so contemplative, perhaps reflecting on her summer and the future that lies ahead. A quick photograph inspired me to create this oil painting reminding me of a moment in time when a young girl, seemingly unnoticed, was having 'Reflections of Summer.'"
