A mother and daughter were sitting on the beach.  The woman wished this moment could be frozen forever, because only a parent knows their children grow up in the blink of an eye. The piece is on gallery wrapped linen with unpainted sides.

Getting to Know Jay

An award-winning computer graphic artist by trade, Jay recently began using oil painting as another way to explore his creativity. He consults professionally for the motion picture industry which requires travelling from his home base of Shanghai to Los Angeles, so he paints in both cities. That said, Jay’s work transcends time and place. His soft oils are studies of everyday life and uncomplicated beauty. Jay’s use of light and texture in the Impressionist tradition convey a pervasive sense of warmth in depicting simple comforts.
