About this artwork

A lone multi-colored tree stands proudly in the middle of the composition, hazy and dream-like with its undefined edges. A gentle reflection of these fall colors glows in the foreground. Artist George Peebles is known for his dramatic landscapes and panoramic ocean vistas. He enjoys painting brief moments in nature. George draws on his surroundings in Michigan but ultimately paints entirely from his imagination.
