Pamela Blaies
Colleyville, Texas
Pamela Blaies unexpectedly discovered her passion for art. A move with her family put her children in sad spirits, so to cheer them up she painted murals on their bedroom walls. With time, she began looking forward to painting more and more. She works in “alla prima” style, a technique in which artists don’t wait for paint to dry and work with layers of wet paint. The effects of light and shadows in the world greatly influence her work.
Happy Summer! Be sure and check out the painting demonstration video of "Morning Reflections" to see it created from beginning to completion! Here is the link to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTQUwL_R25Y
