About this artwork

While Onelio was visiting the midtown area of Manhattan on a cold winter day in December, he was inspired to capture this busy cross section on Times Square. The fading sunlight over the city plays tricks as the glass skyscrapers reflect light while simultaneously creating long shadows, he explains. As the sunlight faded, Onelio was challenged by the jumbo screens that fill nearly every building and compete with the natural light.
