Hibiscus blooms are astonishing, says artist Jay Jensen. The brilliance of color exceeds the range of oil pigments. They have fascinated me ever since I visited San Diego where they grow everywhere outside all year long. In this work, I wanted to create an imaginary setting as if it came in a dream.
