Classically-inspired still life with exquisite attention to detail and lighting. Beautiful translucence and reflection on the Ball jars. Painterly yet highly realistic wooden tabletop. Completed in a traditional manner where the wood panel was prepared and then a careful drawing was completed. Layers of impasto and glazes were completed over a number of weeks. The piece was brought to a finish by paying careful attention to each value and highlight.
