Gail Greene’s paintings rarely end up the way she started them. After an initial block in, she steps back and studies the canvas. Whether it’s adding a spontaneous waterfall or painting new cliffs, she’s usually tinkering with something. Her intention with art is simple – to make the viewer feel good. When she’s not making art, Gail has her hands in many different pots. She’s a retired realtor, currently owns and operates a pet sitting service, and loves working in the garden in her spare time. The easel, though, is where Gail lets herself get lost.

Love it but wish I gotten bigger piece. I also have summerfield pieces which I enjoy.
I apologize for not responding to your post earlier. I am in the process of moving and our scheduled closing date moved up by two weeks and as left me scrambling to get all packing done. Thank you so much for your comments. I do indeed paint in a tonalism style. I'm always drawn to that style anytime I visit a museum or gallery.

I have such wonderful memories of my grandmother and her old homestead. Summer Breeze is based on some photographs I took during a trip to the New England Coast. Thank you so much, Mark. Both paintings that you purchased were inspired by my childhood memories. As a little girl, I always loved winter. "Warm Winter Melody" is one of my personal favorites because it reminds me of the wonderful times I spent with my father enjoying the snow. I hope they bring you much enjoyment and pleasure too.
