A woman sits and looks off to the right with a thoughtful expression. Delicate tonal palette of beiges, brown, pink and blue accentuate the mood and elegance of the figure's dress. Based on a photograph Liz took at an art gallery opening. "The woman is like a work of art - sexy and innocent at the same time," she says.

Liz is a self-taught artist who is inspired by the graceful movement of the figure. She paints both from her own photographs and from life. One of her favorite subjects, the dancer, exemplifies a celebration of the female form and the artist’s personal love of ballet. Liz’s paintings are emotional and even raw, capturing each subject with active line- and brushwork. She does not assign an intended interpretation or narrative to her paintings; “I think that each viewer brings their own response to my art, and I don't care to 'mess' with their vision and experience.”
